Working principle

The principle of siphon reservoir is based on the siphon effect of liquid. When liquid is present inside the container, a pressure difference occurs in the container, that is, the top gas pressure is lower than the vapor pressure on the liquid surface. At this time, the gas sandwiched between the liquid surface and the inner wall of the container is drawn out, resulting in a vacuum in the container.

In this state, the inlet and outlet liquid through the top of the container can be siphoned to the inlet and flow freely into the liquid reservoir under the action of gravity. When the liquid level reaches a certain level, the inside of the container will regain equilibrium and the siphon effect at the inlet stops.

Scope of application

Siphon liquid storage tank is suitable for the storage and transportation of many different types of liquids. The siphon reservoir has high operability and is often used in the following situations:

1. Store and transport chemical liquids such as organic solvents, acids, and alkalis
